The Hedgehog Hideaway

A simple timber shelter with a sloping roof and ground-level entrance, made to sit quietly in a sheltered garden corner. Its rustic finish complements the nut bar and squirrel nesting box, so you can plan the three together as a wildlife garden set.

Choose it on its own or include it in a matching set, with dimensions, access and siting discussed for your garden.

From our garden to yours

Our garden.
Their little world.

I’m a family man with a passion for wildlife and a love of making things and watching the wildlife in our garden.

We’re building a family business from something we genuinely enjoy: making things for the squirrels, birds and other wildlife that share our garden. Reclaimed wood and natural logs give each creation its own character.

We want to help you make a garden that looks lovely and gives you more reasons to stop, watch and enjoy the wildlife around you. Our own garden is where the ideas begin—and where we get to see them being used.

OUR FAMILY · THE WILDLIFE GARDEN CO
Built on a few simple things

Good for the garden.
Made with a purpose.

A beautiful garden can also be a place to notice, learn about and make room for wildlife. That’s the idea behind everything we’re building.

We’ve found if you put the feeding stations and shelters out, the wildlife will come.

Give timber another chapter

Reclaimed wood, natural logs and thoughtful details. Rustic materials with a useful new purpose.

Help you enjoy the visitors

The right piece is only the beginning. Positioning, care and learning about your garden matter too.

Grow something that gives back

Our ambition is to support a wildlife charity as the business grows. The charity and contribution will be announced once confirmed.

Something made for your space

From a little idea
to your garden.

01

Choose your starting point

A nut bar, nesting box or a custom idea. Think about where it will go and the look you would like.

02

Work out the details

Design, size, finish, price and collection or delivery arrangements need agreeing before an order is placed.

03

Make room for wildlife

Choose a suitable spot, keep feeding areas clean and settle in to enjoy the visitors that find your garden.

Learn. Build. Attract. Share.

A garden worth
getting to know.

Our approach is simple: observe first, make thoughtfully, and keep learning from the wildlife around you.

01

Watch who visits

Spend a little time noticing the animals already using your garden, their routes and the places they return to. Let that inspire your first project.

02

Plan beyond the product

Think about access for cleaning, weather exposure and where you’ll enjoy watching from. Every garden and every species has different needs.

03

Keep a little garden diary

A photo, a new visitor, a change through the seasons. Those small observations are a lovely way for the whole family to get involved.

A community in the making

More little discoveries.
More people to share them with.

We want to bring together people who love making, learning and watching wildlife. Garden stories, practical projects and shared discoveries are part of our plans as we grow.
